Some people are born with sea water in their veins. I was born in Brighton England just steps from the ocean and for me, it as much a part of me as my own DNA. Growing up in England and moving to New York City at age 17, I have always been near the salt water. Married to a girl from eastern Long Island, I have two sons who feel the same way I do, and love to fish, sail, and explore the beauty of our North Carolina coast.

If you are considering a move to this area, you will find warm clear water in the summer, and white sandy beaches all year round. The gulf stream is only 5o miles offshore and it brings an abundance of sea life from fish to mammals.

My wife and I chose to move here in 1993 as newlyweds. We packed up our belongings, rented a truck and moved into the Motel 6 until we found a rental. A little impetuous yes, but it has given me the appreciation of good planning and having an ally on your side when you are ready to move. Over the years, I have been a top producer with Coldwell Banker, ReMax and Exit Realty. There is not much haven't done in this crazy real estate business, so feel free to pick my brain!
